I loved my shih tzu, she was the best dog and was easy to train and was just all together a lovable dog. She knew when it was time to go to bed or if she had to go out side she would let us know by walking to the door and back to us till we noticed what she was doing. She wouldn't leave the yard when we let her out side after we trained her. she was a smart dog and i would love to get another one.

Extremely loving and attached at the hip. Quiet most of the time with bursts of roucous attention-seeking. Smarter than most of the neighborhood teenagers.
Cons: Separation anxiety when you go to the mail box. Every other month to the beauty parlor for a shave. Can be moody when ignored, but I wouldn't trade him for everything on earth.
