The purest friendships in my life have been those with animals, especially with my Pug, Banana Smashie. Pugs are clownish with their curly tails, large, round eyes, and wrinkled, flat faces. They also happen to be the friendliest breed I've ever met. Easy to love for their intelligence and warmth, but beware! Pugs are obsessed with food! Don't forget to spay/neuter & adopt from a shelter :)

Will conquer your heart, sofa and bed. Highlight of every social event. Playful, lovely, cute, good with people and children. Mostly low maintenance and requires modest amounts of exercise. Compact!

A lot of personality in a little body! Always preferred big dogs - now will only own pugs! Snoring puts me to sleep. If you want more than one, same sex gets along better.
Cons: They shed a lot! Need to keep ears & nose/wrinkled areas clean. Cannot tolerate heat.
