1 year and 10 months later we finally have our flat coat and he's everything he's chalked up to be. Not a very popular breed so finding one takes some time. Be patient, ours seems to be worth the wait!

Did some recent research on a new addition to our family. Took breed quizzes, read on-line articles, interviewed breeders...checked out 7 different breed pretty seriously when all was said and done and this is our winner. We love that it is an active retriever with working skills, loving, easy to train, large enough to seem protective but not aggressive.
