I have a Beagle, they are great dogs. They are incredible expressive with his eyes.

I grew up with beagles. Great dogs with children,but not for someone who doesn't have time to play. They are " come on" dogs, always leading the way. This is their nature, bred for hunting and bringing prey back around to the hunter. They will never stay back, and wait for you----you have to keep up. :)

My wife and I have two beagles Bailey and Steadman. They are simply the greatest dog in the world. Smart too.

Very clever animals, quickly trained and fast learners. They are very energetic and always up for a hike. Mine is called Archie. Very handsome too!
Cons: They can be too exhausting sometimes.

Adorable!! Also very active and playful, and... soft... Very friendly and eager. But so adorable!!
Cons: Require constant attention, and something we've found is that they do like to tip over bins a lot, and cause general havoc. It's very easy to overfeed them as well.

I've owned 3 beagles, each with a unique personality but all wonderful companions. Very friendly, cute and easy to care for. Clever and intelligent...love them!
Cons: Very, very stubborn and willful with a tendency to be lazy and overeat. Bad habits can include howling, digging and destroying property so you must be as stubborn as your beagle to train them well!

Beagles are easy to care for, have sweet dispositions and are very loyal to their human "pack".

-Extremely cute
Cons: Beagles are bred to hunt in packs independent of humans. This makes them willful and manipulative, especially about food. May be aggressive toward dogs from "other packs".

Sweet, gentle, great with kids. Cute, funny, lots of personality, looks and acts like a puppy 10+ years later.
Cons: Not the most obedient. They obey their nose and stomach. Requires patience. Purebreds can have back/neck issues.

Fun, active, smaller dogs.
Cons: Can be too active and yappy.
