James Cameron takes all the most over used cliches and sins of Hollywood and makes you realize why such elements stick around and work. The man knows how to make an audience feel invigorated by and involved in and excited about a story. My favorite of his is Aliens--by making an action sequel to a horror film, he made the series what it is.

I have to agree with the last guy. Everything Cameron has done is gold. Except titanic. We don't speak of that movie in my family. To us, it doesn't exist. :)
