One of the most misunderstood authors ever, perhaps. A true libertarian, but not the fascist many believe her to be.
In addition, whether you like her ideas or not, she is a truly remarkable author.

Her ideas are creative. I don't buy in to her bleak world views, but she does create an interesting environment for her audience to explore. I think her ideas helped to focus my beliefs into a more conservative direction (I'm guessing that's the opposite of what she was going for).

Has many unique and interesting philosophical ideas and expresses them with unrivaled and contagious passion for her view of life.
Cons: Insists on absolutely rigid adherence to her ethical axioms with no consideration given to any practical problems that might arise. Also, people will hate you for liking her.
