Certainly not serious music, but fun and good for a dance party. And the lyrics will make you think a bit while bobbing your head around.
(I quite adore their cover of Dire Straits' "Romeo and Juliet".)

A great rock group of our time. Brandon Flowers' lyrics will blow your mind as the sounds of the keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums amplify his voice. Hot Fuss and Day and Age are definitely must heard albums from this band.

Great vocals and songs! Theatrical in their performance, but if you like that you will love them!

Despite emulating a new epic musician on each outing, The Killers are solid. They progressively improve at songwriting with each album. Someday, they might be less derivative and more original.
Cons: Brandon Flowers can be a twit and sometimes the band takes themselves too seriously. The Killers also heavily emulate a different band for each new album (Duran Duran, Springsteen, U2)
