I remember first reading this as a child, stuck in bed with 'flu. A sort of 1960's American take on Alice on Wonderland. Psychadelic. Norton Juster sounds like the most interesting character.

This is an excellent book to read to a school age child. My second grade son and I enjoyed it together.

Watched the the movie a long time ago; based on a recommendation in a bar... fast forward 20 years and I read the book to my youngest son. Classic.
