This Pearl S. Buck classic is a must read from early readers on ward. Read it to your kids, or yourself. It has so many messages of sacrifice, greed, poverty, gluttony, pride, reward, penance. It covers the gamut of human nature, and you'll be sorry when its ended.

Definately. That's exactly how I felt when I read it. Amazing book with a great message. Each page made me feel like i was learning something different about human kind. A simple yet remarkable book.
