An old-school typeface that's experienced revivals in the 60s and 70s and 90s and 00s. With the right copy, a great display typeface.
Cons: The retro 60s/70s imagery many readers will associate with Cooper Black make it inappropriate for a lot of applications.

I had to use Cooper Black at Signs First a lot, highly compressed, because sign customers and sign shop owners want letters BIG, so long as it doesn't cost more. Cooper Bold and Medium suit me a lot better than the Black weight.
