They truly are the best company someone can have. My Labrador wakes me up in the morning and when I get back from classes I find her on my bed sleeping waiting for me!

they're friendly, loyal, and if they really love you, they'll stick to your side no matter what, and they're totally great companions.
Cons: Well, you do have to pick up their poop, sometimes they howl when you're asleep, they could fight with other dogs when you take them on a walk, and sometimes, they get lost.

Dogs are fun-loving, active animals. They make good companions and love to give and get attention from their owners.
Cons: Proper training as a puppy is essential to having a well-behaved, social dog. They take more maintenance and money than smaller pets.

It is man's best friend for a reason. Great when you need company of some sort.
Cons: Needs to be trained, and sleeping hours maybe distrupted by it.

Wonderful pets! Dogs respond well to training, they are loyal, and they will protect you. There is a large choice for dog types as well, so you can find one that is right for you.
Cons: They are time-consuming to raise. Like cats, they can do a number on your house if they are not well-trained and you could get bitten if you are not careful. Vet visits will be a pain.
