Fun game, clever writing, etc. I still waste time with this one.

It won the Pulitzer for a good reason. It's an engrossing story about the corrupting influence of power and it contains some of the best prose I've ever read. Check it out.

A true classic that goes mostly unknown, which is pretty much Tim Schafer's MO. I remember being blown away by the cleverness of the level design when I first played it. There's a demo on Steam the lass time I checked. What are you waiting for?

Everyone's favorite film school grad/psychopath offers some of the most salient insight into the failings of the newer Star Wars movies you'll ever find on the internet. Consider it a crash course in narrative and characterization. Be sure to check out his other reviews too.

This movie is the best of what sci-fi can be. A thought provoking and emotionally touching examination of the conflict between society and the individual and blah blah blah. Why are you still reading this when you could be watching it?

A seminal text in the graphic novel medium with gritty characters & tons of detail—worth it if you ever enjoyed comics.
The narratives are seamlessly weaved together—presenting an alternate history where superheros emerged in the 40s & eventually become outlawed several decades later. It tackles anxieties with nuclear war & human conflict while also serving as a critique on the superhero concept.

One of the best pop philosophy books ever written. Tons of fascinating asides and diversions besides the main thesis (which is about the concept of evolution applied to biology and beyond).
