I've made this a few times and it's as delicious as it is pretty. Gets crunchier the more it sits.. but if it's stored for too long it'll get sticky. This is so easy to make that you pretty much have to give it a try!

This is a neat Santa Cruz stop if you have kids with you. It's small enough not to exhaust an antsy little one ( or several of them) and cause a meltdown. There's a touch pool with neat creatures and kids can chat with scientists. Plus: snap a picture with the blue whale skeleton or elephant seal statues!

I made this yesterday and it was a hit. I actually used half mango/strawberry and I pureed some of the fruit instead of straining it all out. This soda turns out not overly sweet and very refreshing.. with ice and a straw! yummmm.

Wow! My Abuelita saved every sort of jar and used it later as a drinking glass. If she'd had these handy perhaps we critters might have made less mess.

This recipe is only a tiny bit more laborious than plain ol' drop cookies but way more rewarding. These are great for gifting but if you're layering them the layers MUST be lined with with wax paper... the totally scrumptious frosting doesn't dry completely and might get smudgy.

This is one of my favorite things to watch. I love the info, the speculation and the music ( also.. a pretend spaceship ride) Maybe it's odd but I find Carl Sagan's voice extremely soothing.

Spinach bolani is ultra yummy. The flavor is not super intense and it's a pretty awesome snack.
