Sweet and delicious.
Cons: Hard to find a ripe one. Check for give, but not softness at the poles.

Unique gritty texture. Sweet. You eat the seeds like you would a tomato's. Makes excellent juice too.
Cons: Sadly not very available in the US.

A very underrated fruit. Slightly mushy when ripe. Eat slices, after skinning, with orange juice drizzled on it.

An excellent meat snack, made with real meat. Far superior to the convenience store "beef" jerky. Chewy and meaty.
Cons: Expensive, but very worth it. Not widely available, but worth googling...
