I waste a lot of money on metro card left-overs too, but the MTA likely features this waste. That's more money for them -- avoids fare hikes.

I easily set up a Sonos to send music from Rhapsody, iTunes and online radio all around our apartment. Relatively inexpensive for such a custom feel. Love the iPad and iPhone apps to control the whole system. Best compliment I can give: Sonos helps me to listen to more music.

Jambox rules our summer roof parties. Friends can take turns DJing from their iPhone to the Jambox via Bluetooth.

Dress your bed like you dress yourself I say. I like this washable wool blanket with monogrammed blue sheets for a menswear inspired look. The wool isn't too scratchy either.

This pepper mill looks a bit like Darth Vader. It's a real work horse. I've owned one for years. It is much easier to load the pepper into than most other grinders. It holds a lot of pepper so you don't need to refill it very often and it is easy to keep clean.
