If you're into slasher films, The Cabin in the Woods is a great homage to the genre. If not, it's an OK horror movie with humor and a twist.

Great affordable shaving resource - and a hysterical video, probably one of the best ads I've seen in a while.

Some of the coolest (historical) photos of NYC I have seen. Seriously, have a look at them!

The Hunch feed's own @hrldcpr will discuss 'Hunch Global, an experimental project at Hunch/eBay which generates a personalized heatmap over any part of the world'.

Truly fascinating, I'd call it geographical taste segregation. Let's hope it's not the last experimental project to come out of Hunch/eBay!

Thanks Ictus! Hilarious to come across that serious picture of myself in the feed ;)

Hopefully I'll be able to get something to the point where people can play with it — right now it's quite experimental. But at the very least I'll share the presentation!

Agree, must be somewhat surreal ;)

I like experimental things, hopefully it'll also motivate people to take a look at the API and create more awesome things with it.
Looking forward to the presentation.

Better than 1st one, significantly worse than Guy Ritchie's first 2 movies.

Louis CK is selling the DRM-free video of his latest show—at Beacon theater—online for $5. I bought it, and watch it last night. Classic Louis CK! If you like him, go for it.

A very good first indie movie from NYC writer/director J.C. Khoury. It's currently playing at Quad Cinema. I went there last weekend, and was surprised by a Q&A with director, and lead actor.

Interesting and well-balanced documentary. I wish it would have addressed their online strategy more, but I liked the perspective they gave on the NYT's life/history.

Mr. Banksy has been rather prolific recently. This is a rather clever sculpture currently being shown in the Walker gallery in Liverpool. A rather thought provoking piece.
