New badges suggestion

This might sound a bit "gadget" to add new badges, but I think this could help further distinction between members, or allow API developers to work on sorting users exactly the way they want.
A few ideas I've had is the "Forum Poster" badge (10|100|1000 posts) and the "Favorited" badge (10|100|1000 people favorited your results) that would certainly highlight users that are active in the community (for the first one) and that offer quality and appreciated content (for the second)

These were my two cents, how about what YOU think?

to echo what @jon said, @spicyj we're going have many more tiers for each badge in the reorganized badge system. @danlev currently badges recognize users who create helpful topics, questions, and results, but we've got a few badges in the pipeline that recognize users who are great collaborators and editors too. @thomash your suggestions are great, keep 'em coming because we're always looking to improve the badges :D

Also, what about "upgraded" badges for Topics, as there is for Banjos, Teaching, etc.

For example, my first topic badge was in Beauty & Personal Care. I continue to contribute to that since I have lots of knowledge on that topic, but cannot earn another badge.

That's just what is coming down the pipeline. So, you won't just get one Beauty & personal Care badge, you'll get a new one the more banjos you earn in those categories. After all your contributions, I'm sure you'll be our leader in Beauty topics banjos for a while!
