Please give us feedback on the Hunch Workshop here. Here's the blog post explaining it:

I like this very much.
However, I just scrolled through the 1st ten pages and found quite a number of duplicates. These seems to be exact dupes, not near dupes. So, is everything OK with the pagination here?

Thanks, I think there was a problem. Just updated the website to fix it. Please let us know if you see any further problems.

Looks much better, thanks!

About teaching topics. I have never submitted a topic, so now I cannot train results. I actually find training results to be an easier point of entry than creating a new topic. I've also previously trained the results on a few topics.

I'm sure I could create a topic to get over this hurdle, but this would seem to encourage creating a slew of non-feasible topics just to be able to train results. Couldn't there be a better indicator that someone can train a result than whether or not they've created a new topic?

Hmm, interesting. Our suspicion is that some people are confusing Fix Hunch with "changing their answers" - i.e. they don't realize they are changing what Hunch thinks for everyone else. We thought if someone had created a topic they would understand better since they would have added and trained some results. But maybe we should just require you to submit a result (versus a topic) and train it before being allowed to Fix Hunch? Alternatively, we could say if you have over, say, 1000 banjos you can fix stuff... or either... thanks for the feedback...

Oh, I totally agree that there needs to be some criteria. I just find the limitation a bit restrictive. I'm able to create a question for an existing topic, but I can't train it yet. I even tried to create a topic just now, only to find that there are always pending topics for the ideas I had in mind (and they are pending, so they don't come up in search). It's just a bit off-putting.

I like the idea of submitting a result and training it or the minimum banjo idea before being allowed to fix hunch. Thanks for listening!

Hi again. So, I jumped in the water and created a topic to get around the current limitation. An unintended consequence? As I was adding results, I found that I could not go back and re-train a result that I'd screwed up because I hadn't created a topic yet. Errr. Eventually, hunch recognized that I had created the topic, but for a while there I was laughing ironically. ;-)

Hi,

I was in Teach trying to train results. I decided to add a result in one of the questions, the one about what do on New Year's Eve. I entered "sailing vacation to the British Virgin Island". The system shortened it to British Virgin Island and is not allowing a change. Where did I go wrong?

The workshop is great...but could there be a way to personally draft before making public to the rest of the crew. So you can create privately and put in a more polished topic or open the topic up from the beginning for others to assist with
