I think this is the start of a great idea, although a bit disorganized at this point. It certainly makes contributing easier and more frequent. Hopefully it will encourage people to add some interesting content that they previously wouldn't have bothered or remembered to (like me!). I would prefer if the webpage didn't reload when closing the hunch bookmarklet popup.

Sorry for the ambiguity. The bookmarklet works well and the information it assigns to the fields is fine. I meant more along the lines of dumping everything into a serendipity topic with nearing 10000 results. I'm sure you have thought about this, but it would be neat if hunch decided which topics were relevant to the result and then of those, the user would select which to add the result to. You could also create a hunchified stumpleupon-like feature with just the serendipity results.
I have not been able to edit serendipity result pages, getting "Hunch encountered an error. Please Refresh the page to retry".

with the following result

The major problems I encountered were mostly with videos I tried to add
especially with the window imposed on top of the video.
For the rest: great work, will make it much easier to add information. And a great idea to couple it to a serendipity couple, I guess it's already challenging enough to build.
I'm sure people will make lots of happy discoveries.

Thank you guys for trying the bookmarklet and giving us feedback!
marcescence: The reloading of the page is annoying; we'll try to get rid of it.
ictus: I found the reason why the image did not get uploaded properly on sophiekirkpatrick.co.uk; we'll work on a fix and let you know how it goes.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason behind automatically adding the result you add with this bookmarklet to your favorites? This is the only reason I haven't tried it out yet, as I'm very particular about what goes into my favorites. Not any old thing I like goes there. I realize I can just remove the result from my favorites immediately, but well, that'd be a pain to do every time. Maybe have a checkbox that says "Add this to your favorites"?
