Why doesn't the topic ask all of the questions before giving me an answer?

I played a topic that had 19 questions and it only asked me 7 before giving me an answer. The answer happened to be correct, but I'm concerned that it's not evaluating all the possible criteria.

Hi Desjardins -
two things
1) first we guarantee never to ask more than 10 questions. This was just a usability decision we made so people wouldn't feel like topic questions would go on forever.
2) one of our core algorithms is asking smart follow up questions that adapt based on how you answer before. So for example if you say you are looking for an car that is an SUV, the follow up questions will try to narrow down among the SUVs, and won't ask you things about, say sports cars. Does that make sense?
It is possible that sometimes our algorithm is too aggressive at pruning questions. If you find a case where you think that's true please let us know and we'll look into it.

Does the algorithm also take into account how others similar to you answered?

Hi treehead- the algorithm does take similar users into account indirectly. We base the similarity on teach hunch about you questions that you answered, and we also base the result-recommending algorithm on teach hunch about you questions that you answered. So people like you should get similar results, but we're not actually taking people who are similar to you and showing you what they liked, as that would throw out everything that's unique about you.
