Hi Emily-
We have been meaning to rollout flags across the site for just the kind of reason you mention and have just done so. Users can now flag results, recommendations and comments across the site. When a user flags a piece of content on the site, they can also send a short message to our staff should any clarification be needed. From there we will address whatever issue has arisen. Some older Hunch users will remember that we used to have this functionality to help clean up issues like the one you mention, and I'm sure will be happy to see its return.
As for the specific issue of misfilings and topic refiling, we are thinking very deeply about this and should have some new features to help address it.

I joined Hunch a while ago, but have been slow to warm up to it. I just figured out why: people often post things that really fit better in another category. For example, at the top of my recommendations right now is a submission in the Movies/TV category. It links to a page of fashion illustrations inspired by a movie series.
Now, I understand that this recommendation could be hard to place due to it straddling two categories, but I think it rightly belongs in the Men's Fashion section, as it is not actually a movie or TV series, and that's the only thing I would want to see in that section.
I think this could be resolved by allowing other users to suggest re-classification for misclassified recommendations. In fact, I don't see any sort of "flag" button at all, even to report inappropriate content... am I missing it?
