Living a moral life provides peace of mind.
Just knowing that you need to be moral, doesn't make it so. You need to understand the virtues of morality.

Working with what you've got e.g. character. You don't have to try to change who you are fundamentally
Can be a little difficult to live a virtuous & moralistic lifestyle in this day and age

It appears, this code promotes self-acceptance of your current self devised morals without consideration of the external outcome of your behavior
