This movie hits that sweet spot between comedy and drama. Duchovny and Moore's great chemistry is a nice touch on this film that strongly satirizes our consumerist culture.

A solid comedy and intricate, if jaded, science fiction plot join forces to create a really great film for the sci fi fan.

The definition of indie comedy - hilarious, touching and thought-provoking. Really enjoyed Jason Segel and Ed Holms in their respective roles.

The king of deadpan one-liners.

This movie was tons of fun - more sci-fi than they advertise. Philip K. Dick mixes science and fiction better than most and the cast was great including the always clever, Paul Giamatti.

David Sedaris tells the most mundane stories in such a hilarious and poignant fashion - there's nothing going on but there's so much going on. Definitely worth listening to the audio book version of this, his delivery cannot be emulated.

EASILY one of the best comedians around. Genuinely hilarious with a Seinfeldian observationalist approach that's lathered in the crude and bizarre.

This game is SO much fun. Truly scary, best played with the lights off and a friend.

This book is bizarre - not only in the contents of the plot, but in the actual novel's construction. Murakami weaves in and out of different narrative perspectives and literary themes - adjoining them where possible or sharply contrasting where applicable. The themes are just palpable enough to encourage readers for a second or third reading. Overall, a worthwhile journey.

Tons of fun, though I can't say I've read the comic book this is based off of.

This movie marked a long-awaited and tremendously satisfying return for the Futurama crew centered on all the things we've grown to love about the series.

Any science fiction junkie has to love this show set in a post-alien invasion world where a former college professor leads a group of survivors. A great blend of action and drama with a story line that's consistently kept me coming back for more.

There is so much going on in every scene, it's impossible to catch everything the first time. Witty doesn't even scratch the surface. I consider it one of the best shows on TV right now. Also worth checking out Frisky Dingo, made by the same crew.

Absolutely my favorite animated series: have a tattoo on my butt just like the one Fry has in Bender's Big Score. If you're a nerd, there's no chance you won't love this series. I love the dorky math jokes and that I can rewatch an episode and find hidden gems I missed the first or second time through.

Excellent science fiction book that paved the way for generations to come and extremely interesting to compare the future as it was pseudo-envisioned back then to the future we have now.

A well-executed indie-comedy with an extremely original plot line, characters with contagious smiles and woes, and pacing that never lingers. Really worth watching if the tagline is even slightly appealing to you.

The kind of movie everyone thinks about when they say the like bad movies. Laugh out loud funny, awesome soundtrack, and some highly quotable moments.
