The androgyny of this New Zealand singer is reminiscent of Joan Jett without the abrasiveness. And there is enough synthesizer here to satisfy any 80s pop fan. The album is an 80s homage (the name Ladyhawke itself, plus songs named Love Don't Live Here and Another Runaway)
