Incredibly easy to use and do post-recording edits with.Records video and audio straight from the machine, and quality for both can be set on export.
Cons: The company that owns Screenflow is not the original company that made it. While they're also a fine company, there's fewer large updates to the software under the new owners.

Awesome add-on for those that need it!
Cons: Another niche Firefox add-on / could have been made as a simple about:config variable.

A classic trick that does no long term harm to clothing.

Amazing value. Each game alone is worth the price, and the games have a lot of replay value with the use of Valve's Achievements system.
Cons: Some servers in Team Fortress 2 can be full of griefing players. Portal is shorter than we'd all wish it to be. Half-Life 2: Episode 2 was also shorter than many expected.

Looks like the cockpit of a fighter plane.
Cons: Not a lot of "style" to it. Not a dressy watch.

It's everyone's favorite nerd blog from the 1990s...

Keeps the publishing houses (not the magazine publishers) in business!
Cons: The recipient may receive a magazine they really enjoy, and now you'll have to hear all about their new interest.

Help people interpret and use the law to their advantage.
Cons: Too many jokes about the profession. Good lawyers forced to deal with the stereotypes created by bad lawyers.

Fantastic photography, with many views of a single situation. This is closer to what daily news reporting should be.

A great short series, lots of great thoughts, and sci-fi without falling into the usual cliches.
Cons: Not enough episodes!

Responsive and fast service. Amazing reputation, and host to many huge (and popular) sites.
Cons: Cluster issues mean that when your site is down, it's rarely just your site that is down.

Tyler Brule has another magazine where editorial content reads incredibly similar to advertising content.
Cons: A tendency to favor Japan as a nation that can do no wrong, a subscription price that is more than single-issue newsstand price.
