The best new show on TV. Very well written and the acting is superb. Basic premise is that an American POW has returned home and he might or might not have been turned into an enemy of the state while in captivity. But the show uses this premise as a hook to explore the effects of war and terrorism on individuals, families and the nation as a whole.

Shiny new places are always interesting, but sometimes the old neighborhood standby that has been there for years takes the cake. Flea Market servers great French fare (down market stuff, not high end) at reasonable prices. Strip steak, burger, french onion soup and the specials are all solid choices. 3 apps for $15 is also worth it.

Excellent Italian food in an old school setting. Does not look like much from the outside but the interior is homey. Very good, simple Italian food featuring a lot of classic dishes. Trailer for Mark Wahlberg's next action thriller: Contraband. Something about Marky Mark, Boston, criminal heist, revenge in one package just makes for good movie making.

Excellent tapas spot in the Village. Food is very good with lots of variety. Wine by the glass is on tap (see picture) and bottles are reasonably priced. Overall, a worthwhile place to check out with a group.

Check out the new song off of the collaborative jay z kanye album. It samples an Otis Redding song, hence the name. It also ends a little abruptly so watch out.
