I've always loved this music, and though Rent doesn't play on Broadway anymore, and even though it's somewhat rooted in 1990's culture, I think this one stands the test of time. You can buy a Blu-Ray of the final performance, which is also recommended.

Beautifully rendered in iOS, and staying up till 6:30 this morning playing it on my iPad has simply got to garner this accessible yet deep game a big-time recommendation. Of course, I love lotsa games....

Game of the Year candidate -- and rightly so. Closer to a fully realized world than any other RPG I can think of. The total package.

Underneath all the negative headlines (many of which parrot each other without adding anything much) is still the best deal going for people seeking affordable and voluminous home entertainment. No, it's not perfect. But yes, I do find it easy to recommend to anyone whether it's the $7.99 streaming or the $7.99 DVD. Show me anything better at this price point. (Disclaimer: Shareholder, too.)

Beautifully produced, very Diablo-like game that swipes most of Blizzard's mechanics and lays over them a more attractive circa 2010 (as opposed to circa 2000) veneer. And adds a little, besides. Your next best bet until either Torchlight 2, or Diablo III, shows up next.

I can relate to this movie on so many levels (from my 20-year appreciation of Bill James to knowing some of the actual people depicted) -- and I love that the book was written, and that such a wonderful movie was made from it.

I love Pandora running through my house, with stations of our own crafting, portable to car, iPhone, etc. I realize there are alternatives, and I haven't looked hard. But part of the reason for that is because I no longer have, in Seth Godin's phrasing, "a streaming music problem."

This book is not only about better Web design -- it's about better design, and better understanding of human nature. I believe it is timeless in much of its teachings. I'm not a Web designer but I loved this book.

Anyone who loves great detective stories, war movies, or British dramas -- if you love any one of those -- I believe you will love Foyle's War -- Michael Kitchen is completely convincing and irresistibly great in this role. Great family viewing for us -- highly recommended. [Note to whoever created this entry: It's "Foyle's War," not "Foyle War.]

Wonderful tension -- unique dynamic of having a couple of your fellow players secretly playing against all the rest -- very thematic in keeping with the revitalized Galactica series -- but unlike most other games and videogames inspired by movies & TV, this game rocks.

I can watch this over and over. Probably my favorite miniseries, and has to be one of the best ever made. Its production values, its ensemble cast, its story, its soundtrack -- this is intense, powerful, ultimately joyful and very rich.

I honestly and truly do believe that this is the greatest personal computer game of all-time. The hours that I have spent playing it attest to this. If you like Roguelikes, take up this wonderful game and enjoy all the continued development of it.
