Classes are usually fun and help you become a better writer.
You might get burnt out on writing. It's extremely hard to make a living doing just creative writing.

This is my actual major, so obviously that is a personal pro! Classes are entertaining, math requirements are low!
It's a pretty impractical major, and you have to write even when you don't have any ideas, and learn to take criticism pretty well.

Probably a pretty good choice for me given that I now know what I am best at, i.e. self expression through word painting.
Too late, I already majored in science and work as a computer programmer.
