Coursera offers a broad range of classes from several US-Universities. Classes require a time commitment of roughly 5 to 10 hours a week, but interactivity and good mix of challenging and simple questions and exercises keep students engaged.

Online University with highly interactive classes, currently focused on Computer Science. Also experienced a nice and supportive community when taking CS101. Courses start in even months, lasting 7 weeks. Geared towards busy people, progress over weeks is not too fast.

One downside for me cristallized only over time: They are naming their classes by motivating examples, not by subject taught.
