Garlic, chili powder, and lime juice boost the flavors of this irresistible crowd-pleaser.

Add a layer of watercress or arugula for excitement, and switch plain yogurt for the sour cream. No one will miss it. Do NOT, however, sub anything for the avocado!

If I was not such a fan of the original I would say this was in fact much better... hell I just said that.

The highly anticipated third entry to the modern warfare series is impressive, although I can't help but feel it has all been done before. Still, the gameplay has been polished to near perfection. Look past the weak story to enjoy a solid FPS.

The best new show on TV. Very well written and the acting is superb. Basic premise is that an American POW has returned home and he might or might not have been turned into an enemy of the state while in captivity. But the show uses this premise as a hook to explore the effects of war and terrorism on individuals, families and the nation as a whole.

+1 to all of this. This is my new favorite show, I'm surprised people aren't talking about it more.

On November 16th, Congress holds hearings on the first American Internet censorship system. If it pass, the US will be able to block a site’s web traffic, ad traffic and search traffic using the same website censorship methods used by China, Iran and Syria. A few infringing links will be then enough to justify censoring an entire site, resulting blocking good content along with the bad.

Richard Feynman made this t-shirt, famous when Apple used a photo of him wearing it for their 'Think Different' Campaign.

It became the inspiration for the actual physical form of the Connection Machine, the first commercial (massively parallel) supercomputer designed expressly to work on simulating intelligence and life.

Btw the CM-1 also inspired the form of the NeXTmachine.

This is a great enrgy saving concept. Plug detects lowered energy use and pops out, cutting the energy supply. Push back in when needed. Simples!

As with all Michael Lewis books (Liar's Poker, Moneyball), this is a super entertaining read, with lots of great stories. Also one of the best explanations of how Ireland, Greece, Iceland etc all suffered financial crises recently.

This game displays Google search results and challenges the player to guess the original search term. Very original and actually teaches you about Google's more advanced features.

Actually, this gets hard pretty quick. I don’t see “normals” making it very far with this :)

georges

georges commented 3 months, 1 week ago

Stuck at the NASDAQ one. Does that make me a “normal”?

peter

peter commented 3 months, 1 week ago

Maybe it just gets too hard regardless, unless you’re the obsessive-must-finish-a-game type of person.

TheLugal

TheLugal commented 3 months, 1 week ago

The "+" and "-" (pluss and minus) operators isn't used anymore, if I recall correctly.

peter

peter commented 3 months, 1 week ago

Minus still works, e.g., "mac -apple", but plus doesn’t. I think quotes were supposed to sort of replace the plus sign functionality.

Regardless, this “game” *is* pretty old, which gets more obvious the more questions you solve :)

Love the speed and iOS 5 - especially new notification system. Have experienced shorter battery life than iPhone 4 w/ iOS 4, which is slightly annoying.
