Not really "Indian", the food (and the owners) are Nepalese. This is a great place to eat, just keep 2 things in mind. 1) They only take cash. 2) It often closes for 6-week stretches as the owners go back to Nepal....
If you can catch them when they're open, this is one of the best restaurants in town.

In the local "Thai Wars", Thai Flavor combines a nice cozy atmosphere with beautiful presentation. Of the many Thai restaurants in H-burg this is probably the best place to eat-in at.
Cons: Impossible to find. This place is tucked down a back alley squeezed between a laundromat and a the exit for a drive-through Little Caesars Pizza.

Beautiful country. Easy to get around in for cheap. A fair number of people know enough English that American travelers can get by on very poor Spanish.
Cons: Avoid San Jose, the prices for everything are much higher than in the rest of the country and a lot people there actively prey on unwary tourists.
