A Dress A Day
Authored by the engaging and irrepressible Erin McKean, an eminent lexicographer who has a way with words, surprisingly enough! Its about dresses (especially mid-century styles), dressmaking adventures, paper patterns, fancy fabrics, all presented with wit, charm and irreverence. Even if you can't sew on a button, there's plenty here to amuse you. more on dressaday.com

Always fun to read, and she posts regularly. Erin (almost) manages to convince me that one day I could make a dress from a vintage pattern too.
Danger of damage to self esteem. I wish I was as intelligent, multi-talented, witty and energetic as Erin!

Really creative. This is a very nice looking blog.
I am even more afraid of putting my sewing machine to work now.

Erin always manages to find great patterns and tell great stories about them. Memories of my mom's patterns!

Posts can be quite comical. And I love vintage patterns!
