One of my favorite books of the year. Very interesting and entertaining. Presents a well balanced look at the topic. Great follow up for those who read "The Mating Mind" Excellent blbliography.
Cons: Does have a couple of dry sections.

Best music discovery site I've ever used. Makes interesting suggestions. Wide range of music including rare material. Easy to use. Helpful support staff. For $36 a year no commercials.
Cons: New music added slowly. Not comprehensive for genres and artists. Really need to subscribe to avoid commercials. Getting your rating info is cumbersome. No global don't play this artist setting.

Does a good job of pointing out significant advances in the understanding of our world but puts them into context and reveals how the ideas were initially recieved.

From 6/2010 cruise - Wonderful accomodatoins, diligent , friendly, helpful staff, nice balance of freestyle and planned, reasonable price,
Cons: From 6/2010 cruise - Inconsistent food quality both day to day and same dish at the same meal. Want to charge you for *everything* and hawk lots of things throughout cruise. Few exceptional staff

Lots of amazing sites, statues, fountains, squares, museuems, ruins, etc... Good public transportation. Easy to get to and from. There are bargains here and there for the prepared traveller.
Cons: Confusing to get around. Easy to get lost. Easy to overpay for food or beverages.

Very beautiful and romantic. Has lots of nooks and cranies to discover and explore. It's fun to hop on and off of boats to get around the city. Lots of various types of interesting places.
Cons: Rather expensive, can be confusing to get around, not very easy for people in wheelchairs to get around, some places get choked with tourists at various times.

Lots of details about the Mondavi family. Some interesting side stories about some of the people associated with the Mondavi's.
Cons: Lots of details about the Mondavi family. Too many at times. I think this book could have been edited better to make it more enjoyable and useful.

I just got a pair of these. The $170 price tag seems rather high, but as a consumer of lower end shoes I can feel the differences. This is a fantastic shoe, sturdy, well padded and responsive.

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants with wonderful flavors, great spice level (I like it hot but you can ask for mild), excellent selection of vegetarian options.

Lots of great people and valuable information. One must be veg*n or considering becoming veg*n to participate, so it keeps the meat proponents to a minimum. Great recipes.
Cons: As with most forums there are fanatics of many types on the forum but most of them are reasonable.

This is a *very* comfortable reasonably priced shoe. It's good for both indoor and outdoor climbing and can be used for long climbs as well. I really loved my pair.
Cons: Isn't an aggressive, high performance shoe, so if you're used to that type of shoe this probably won't be one that you'd like.

Remarkably confortable for such a responsive shoe. Its given me the best performance of any shoe I've ever owned.

Very good with red wine. You can choose different sauces to dip them in for different tastes.
Cons: If you don't live somewhere with a reasonable Asian Indian population it might be difficult and possibly expensive to pick them up for the potluck.

The no salt corn makes a nice mix of sweet and spicy that balances with the black beans.
You can add other ingredients (onions, bell peppers, cilantro, etc...) to tailor it to your tastes.

Lots of diversity packed into a small total area. Great, friendly natives. Spectacular scenery. Unique wildlife. Great seafood and excellent wine.

Had a wonderful time on their Vancouver to Glacier Bay loop in 2005 and would cruise on their ships again. Each ship has it's own theme. Had excellent service while on board.

This is my favorite Indian buffet. The food reminds me of the food I ate for two months in India in 1998. Very spicy food. Corkage fee is inexpensive. Bring a full bodied Zin for a great meal.
Cons: Poor wine selection.

Although they usually only have one or two vegetarian entrees on the menu they have always been fantastic when I've eaten there.
Cons: Can get noisy if there is a large party there.
