This game came out last Friday about this time and this is the only opportunity I've had since then to write about it. I've just been really busy learning dragon shouts, clearing dungeons, going on errands for people, choosing someone to marry, thwarting vampire kings, making werewolf friends, making undead enemies, there was a bit where I was a lumberjack...
Oh and slaying dragons. A lot of that.

The best thing to happen to horror games in recent years. Stripping the character of all defences other than his sanity puts the player on their back foot, and the game keeps them there providing you with a drip feed of lantern oil to edge you on.

Read this. Read this, read this, read this. Probably one of the best webcomics currently on the internet. Homestuck, the latest adventure, is hilarious and gripping and with a uses a wide range of media, resulting in a highly unique and unmissable webcomic experience.

Modern art in it's most interactive form. Not only is it a game I would describe as "super fun" but also as "objectively, a really good game," which are things that I don't always use in conjunction with one another.
The King of All Cosmos (your father) accidentally destroyed a bunch of stars in the sky and now you (The Prince) have to go to Earth and roll a bunch of items into a new star.

What I like to do is find underwater caves or... big floating cliffs and build modern glass houses in/around them. And then build waterfalls flowing through them... and also fight monsters that I'm pretty sure are bent on my creation's destruction.

This is obviously the best game. And lots of fun multi-player, mods and maps too.

If you haven't played either of these games, then this set is an immediate must-buy. Each game is epic and engrossing in ways other games never could manage. The scale of the colossus and the world of Ico were unheard of in their time and still stand up to the latest games.

Fantastic story, great acting all around. Although it's set in 2010, it really stays true to Doyle's Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. I wasn't so sure about this modern take on my favorite character (and first crush, don't tell anyone), but Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are perfect.

スポーキ　です。Uncomfortable, spooky story and a great art style to match. Junji Ito is always pretty weird, this is definitely one of his best.

It's like that show Big Bang Theory, except good. And British. Haha, uh, every episode is hilarious and clever. I put one on for my friends to watch and I say "Oh this is a good one," but I say that every time.

It's a tough one. Actually I should stop recommending this in real life. Great follow-up to Demon's Souls. Unique and fun multi-player, like a million hours of gameplay, fantastic atmosphere. All that dying is worth it and then some.

Super fun island sim where you're EL PRESIDENTE... rule over your island and overcome challenges such as rebels trying to over-throw you and selling enough cigars to keep your citizens fed. It's just like Tropico 3, except better.

Best 15 bucks I ever spent on any single thing in the world. And now it's FREE. So you really have no excuse to try pretty much the best popular FPS.

Super fun tower defense, where you manually navigate through your opponent's tower defense. Really silly.

Best show on television. Every episode is good. And it's on netflix. So you really have no excuse not to watch it.
