Along with the travel mug, this water bottle from Contigo takes the cake as far as in-your-computer-bag-spill-protection. Also, there is a handy built-in carabiner for attaching to backpacks, bikes, and other objects for which, for whatever reason, you may desire a water bottle attachment.

Look, this is just the best travel mug there is. Hands down. It keeps things hot or cold for hours. And it takes a little extra knowledge to know how to take care of the vacuum seal but, other than this one, there isn't a single other mug that I would feel comfortable cavalierly tossing into my computer bag.

Despite their reputation as the Ke$ha of France, YELLE has released a really solid album with consistently catchy tunes and layered melodies -- I can't stop listening to Le Grand Saut (track 9).

I know this is ridiculous and almost embarrassing as my first recommendation but it's way less of a memory hog than iTunes, has a nice design, and handles my podcasts quite nicely!
