This place is quite an experience. The entire ceiling is low-hung christmas lights and it's loud and crowded and cheap. Two pieces of advice: 1. Don't go if you're not in the mood for a party. 2. When you're there with a group, tell them it's someones birthday (even if it's not) you'll be in for a treat. All around the best byob dinners I've had in the city : )

My friend and I have been searching for the best cannoli this side of the atlantic since we returned from Italy this summer, so far Mike's is the winner! The location in Boston's festive North End is also a plus : )

I went to one of the days and saw Jimmy Cliff. It was awesome! He performed in a small club-like setting, no assigned seats (actually no seats at all). The city has a great vibe during the annual festival, but you have to make reservations at least 6 months in advance!

This is a great place to stay if you're on a budget in Paris! Hostel prices but AMAZING location. Walking distance from the Louvre and right near the Saint Paul metro stop. Rooms are nice and the building is old and very pretty with a central courtyard.

I'm kind of obsessed with this show. It's fun if you like reality show drama, inspirational if you like things that tug on your heart strings, and actually informative if you're interested in fitness and nutrition. Try it and you'll catch the "loser fever"!

If you like country music, (and even if you don't) these guys are great. His voice is really pretty and doesn't overdo the country twang. My favorite songs are "chicken fried" and "toes". Crank it up at your next barbecue!

My absolute favorite cookie recipe. I make them at Christmas time with holiday cookie cutters. The mint flavoring make them a perfect winter treat, but they're good any time of year!

A guy from my high school is in this band. I've seen them play a bunch of times and have some of their music. They're actually pretty good, and great to see live! You can also find their music on iTunes.

I don't think there's a woman on earth who is not jealous of Carla Bruni. However, it's difficult to be bitter when you listen to her music. She's so playful and honest. I have her whole album and I highly recommend it!
