According to this article the grill cheese sandwich and been boring for a long time and these sandwich add something extra. Haven't tried any yet but hope to soon.

It’s see-through! At this time, it isn’t fully functional, but they’re working on it at the Inventables Concept Studio. I just think this is an awesome concept, especially since I always burn my toast.
