Cool idea for ecommerce merchants to use since it tames a tremendous amount of DATA and RECOMMENDATIONS.

More and more I think back to my time at Vassar and realize how special, how magical, those 4 years were. Magical NOT because Vassar taught me how to make a living (they did), but magical because I learned how to live. An alum helped develop this magical tool (Hunch) and it is easy to understand why.

I've used every email marketing tool out there and Bronto is my favorite. The UI is intuitive and easy despite being powerful. They can handle and process nested what ifs with ease and at any time of day/week because they keep buying iron (servers) to support their growing ecosystem. Chaz Felix is a quiet, humble genius and Bronto has my highest recommendation as a former Dir Ecommerce.

Much to my displeasure, my company does NOT use our neighbor, Bronto is here in Durham close to Atlantic BT where I am Director of Marketing. I have NO dog in this hunt much to my disappointment :).

There is so much Google roil going on right now I've fallen back on a trusted friend - Rand Fishkin's SEOmoz. I've subscribed, or my company has, but there is a lot of content in the SERPs free. If you are trying to tame raging Pandas and Penguins stop by SEOmoz.

Finding Advanced Google Adwords helpful especially the discussion of the types of keywords: Explicit, Problem, Symptom and Brands/Products. Reviewing our keywords against those 4 quadrants found we were heavy some and light others so balanced out. Recommended to understand PPC and don't be intimidated by "advanced" in the title.

Cannondale bicycles did a good job with their Behind The Scenes At The Tour Facebook "Fan Gate" promotion. Fan Gate promotions are designed to drive up Facebook Likes and it looks like Cannondale has achieved that goal. Well done.

Forgot to mention I have a dog in this hunt as I've entered. Chance of winning are probably REMOTE, but solid marketing none-the-less. Marty

Several favorite Hunch.com curators have been selected as possible Top Curators of 2011 based on several hundred entries to Atlantic BT's Content Curation Contest. Voting will take place over the next few weeks and is based on curation philosophy and how fun and engaging curators make their selections.

As a cancer survivor this speech means so much, it inspired me to ride a bicycle across America last summer. Like Tracey Bryan I watch it again every now and again to fill the tank up again and head out. Randy is gone, but his magic lives. Thanks for the reminder :).

Met underwater photographer Marc Montocchio last night and was amazed, dazzled and overwhelmed by his photographs blue, silent beauty. Pictures of his recent Great White Shark expedition were stunning and scary all at once. Talented, nice man who has a cool company in North Carolina

This is the leader in social media monitoring software but it comes with a pretty hefty price. If anyone knows other options to monitor web conversations please let me know as my company probably can't afford this one. TY. M

This is the bicycle I road across America in the summer of 2010 during Martin's Ride To Cure Cancer. Its more relaxed geometry is great for a rider on the north side of 50 and its light but strong frame makes for great climbing and even more fun descending :).
