Thanks for the recommendation Mobriff. I rented the whole series and was spellbound. Simon Schama brings intimacy and emotion to a subject that many people manage to make dry and dusty. A great find.

Amazing photographs and a photographer equally talented in landscapes, people and action. Some rights managed work on Image Source.

Amazing community of the most left brainers on the planet. Great tips, tricks and sharing. Community aspects (review the reviewer and kudos) are excellent too.

As a cancer survivor this speech means so much, it inspired me to ride a bicycle across America last summer. Like Tracey Bryan I watch it again every now and again to fill the tank up again and head out. Randy is gone, but his magic lives. Thanks for the reminder :).

Met underwater photographer Marc Montocchio last night and was amazed, dazzled and overwhelmed by his photographs blue, silent beauty. Pictures of his recent Great White Shark expedition were stunning and scary all at once. Talented, nice man who has a cool company in North Carolina

This is the leader in social media monitoring software but it comes with a pretty hefty price. If anyone knows other options to monitor web conversations please let me know as my company probably can't afford this one. TY. M

This is the bicycle I road across America in the summer of 2010 during Martin's Ride To Cure Cancer. Its more relaxed geometry is great for a rider on the north side of 50 and its light but strong frame makes for great climbing and even more fun descending :).

Today I could hear hard, raspy, beautiful blues as I walked past hundreds of amazing pictures at a world class blues foundation located in my North Carolina backyard (Hillsborough). Tim and Denise Duffy's Music Maker foundation is a treasure helping treasures. I sent them CASH and as much social capital as I own. Least I can do since the BLUES got me through the Big C.

Before watching Power of Art with Simon Schama I only cared about contemporary art. Schama's 2006 BBC series tells spell binding stories about David, Caravaggio, Rembrandt and Picasso making them come alive and live NOW. Ironically, Schama's series is weaker as we head to our present time. His Rothko piece seem feeble in comparison. But highly recommended for everything but that last show.

Baldessari is a favorite contemporary artist. Got to see his Pure Beauty retrospective at LACMA right after Martin's Ride To Cure Cancer and the show was amazing. Tips For Artists Who Want To Sell was a favorite.

Customer Reviews are the most important information on any ecommerce site and Bazaar Voice may be the best review curation tool out there. I like the feed manipulation flexibility of PowerReviews and the curatorial sophistication of BazaarVoice. The "right" tool depends on your business model. Neither tool is cheap, but both pay for themselves in nothing flat.
