More of an edge than regular pepsi, better for you.
Cons: Lacks that little something. That something being sugar.

Truth before it was known to be so, rather prophetic of Darwin's discoveries.
Cons: Could be worded more elegantly.

A modern genius of comedic and observational writing. His comments on the British and humans at large are among the best in my eyes. Few authors compare.
Cons: Liking him outs you as nerd. Some people think this is a con.

Generally friendly to their own kind, reasonably common.
Cons: Stereotyped, disliked and generally the butt of 30% of all jokes on the internet. Also sometimes creepy.

Cons: People with more masculine cat-names might beat you up when you explain the origin.

Made me seriously reconsider my personal morals and political opinions. Truly moving both emotionally and intellectually.
Cons: May be too political and intelligent for some. Not for people who do not want their beliefs challenged.

Imaginative, fantastically written and overall a brilliant series, with the added bonus of being surrounded by an excellent fan community.
Cons: While the first few books are suitable for young teens, the later ones explore more mature themes and are fairly long. Might be wise for first-timers to have a gap between books. Otherwise spectacular

Exceptionally clever and with a sparkling wit. Rather than paper and ink, is made of awesome.
Cons: Awesome may be too volatile for some to hold.
