I've worned my Slim Jims for 2 years without washing them. That's right. The jeans are dry denim, meaning that they are not prewashed. The longer you wear them, the more character they develop and the more they transform into a second skin. Once you wash them they take on a new identity determined by the contrast caused by the creases and folds you have created over the previous months or years.

It's a trip...to say the least. Karin Dreijer Andersson's dynamically modified androgynous voice is eerily enticing. Interesting use of space. Play on quality headphones for the full effect.

I don't know what to say. I have listened to this album so many times, yet each time it seems new again. It has so many layers and is severley dynamic. You notice quaint subtleties with every listen. If you don't like it on the first listen, give it one more chance and it will grow on you.

Intuitive sense of the human condition. He submerses the reader in the everyday, causing one to appreciate what is often assumed to be mundane and "simple".

Saw Death from Above open for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and TV on the Radio in their early days (before they became DFA 1979). Great live performance. Sick sound!!!

Futuristic soul...think it's an oxymoron? James Blake proves otherwise. Very intimate album.
